River Crossing is a 110-acre, mixed-use residential, retail and office project located in northwest Tucson. The project occupies three corners at the intersection of River Road and La Cholla Boulevard and is located south of Northwest Hospital’s main campus on La Cholla.
Diamond Ventures formed a joint venture with W.M. Grace Development Company of Phoenix, to develop the Bashas grocery anchored neighborhood shopping center on the northeast corner. The balance of the project includes office, hotel, restaurant, daycare and three residential communities developed by A.F. Sterling homebuilders.
We are finishing the development of the southeast corner with a mix of hotel, restaurants, banking and professional offices with Sundt Construction building a 46,000 square-foot corporate office & Candlewood Suites constructing a 100 room hotel. We have a 7,000 square-foot building pad available for a sit-down restaurant. In total, there will be over 220,000 square feet of office development, including Sundt, AFNI, M-3 Engineers, Mahoney Insurance with over 1,000 daytime employees.
