Mountain Vail Estates is located approximately 1¾ miles east of Houghton and 3/4 of a mile east of the new Empire High School on Mary Ann Cleveland Way. It is a 135 acre master-planned community with 501 home sites representing 4 different lot sizes and will include a variety of housing types and sizes. There will be a 7.5 acre community park and a walking trail through the community. This community is tentatively scheduled to open in mid-to-late 2011.
