Rocking K Master-Planned Community

The opening of the first phase of the Rocking K Master-Planned Community has been announced.  Pulte Homes, Lennar and KB Home have joined Diamond Ventures to deliver 558 homes in late 2020 and early 2021.  Rocking K is an approximately 4,800-acre phased, master-planned community, entitled for up to 6,100 homes located southeast of downtown Tucson, AZ within the highly-rated Vail Unified School District, in the Rincon Valley, adjacent to the Saguaro National Park East. The Rocking K Master Plan is bisected by Old Spanish Trail. South of Old Spanish Trail is the lower Sonoran Desert. North of Old Spanish Trail the elevation rises to the high desert foothills of the Rincon Mountains. Rocking K is conveniently located near major employment and accessed by Valencia Road which is planned to open in 2020. The Rocking K Master Plan includes residential and commercial lands, a resort site, entitled golf courses, abundant natural open space, school sites, parks, and an extensive multi-use trail system.
